Texarkana, TX — March 2026 — AvSales Talent has partnered with Texarkana College to introduce a new credentialed training initiative aimed at developing professional talent for business aviation sales roles.
The Aviation Professional Sales Certificate Program, scheduled to begin March 23, is designed to provide a structured pathway into aviation sales—an area of the industry that historically has had limited formal training options compared with operational roles such as pilots, maintenance technicians, or dispatchers.
Delivered through Texarkana College, the six-week program combines self-paced coursework with weekly live instruction and mentorship. The curriculum focuses on the fundamentals of business aviation transactions and modern consultative sales practices, including high-net-worth client engagement, aviation market fundamentals, and deal structuring.
The program was developed to help address a growing need for trained sales professionals across the aviation ecosystem, including aircraft brokerage, charter sales, aviation services, and fixed-base operations.
Participants who complete the program will earn an industry-focused certificate and gain access to additional career development opportunities through AvSales Talent. The initiative is structured to mirror aviation’s traditional professional development model by pairing foundational education with real-world exposure and mentorship from industry professionals.
Following the certificate phase, select participants may pursue practical experience opportunities with participating aviation companies, providing direct exposure to aviation sales environments while building professional networks within the industry.
The program also aims to create a more consistent pipeline of trained sales professionals entering the aviation workforce. As business aviation continues to expand globally, companies increasingly seek candidates who understand both the technical aspects of the aviation marketplace and the relationship-driven nature of high-value aircraft transactions.
Texarkana College has been expanding its aviation workforce initiatives in recent years, including programs supporting pilot training and other aviation career pathways. The partnership with AvSales Talent adds a new dimension focused specifically on commercial and sales roles within the sector.
Enrollment for the inaugural cohort is currently open.
