AviNation Magazine– Article Submission Guidelines
AviNation seeks inspirational stories written by or for our young audience. We would like to hear your story, and those from mentors, and mentees from your community.
The Editorial focus can be on matters of interest within the following broad categories: Education, Careers, Professional Profiles, Products & Innovations, and aerospace general interest.
AviNation strives to give readers insight into the future of aviation and aerospace by focusing on aviation students, programs, events, and innovative approaches to the promotion and continued growth within aerospace.
Here are the guidelines for submitting a story:
- Please provide a “Title” and the name of the author.
- Stories are generally 500 words and are very effective. We accept longer and feature articles, but 500-750 word count article’s is what we have found to be the most read.
- Please include six (6) to twelve (12) photos. There is no limit on the number of photos you can submit, the above figures are minimums. We will use all of your photographs in the design layout when possible.Make sure to upload/send them as individual image files instead of embedding them in the document.
- Student-submitted articles are typically written from the perspective of the student, a first-person point-of-view. All other features should be written from a third-person point-of-view.
- Please recognize important people, companies, and products associated with your successful journey. Submissions should be non-commercial; however, product and service references can be included.
- Please point out any major hurdles that you faced pursuing your education, career goals and accomplishments, and how you overcame them. What were the imagined and the real-life hurdles and how did you overcome them? What is your driving force of perseverance?
- How old were you when you first thought about aviation/aerospace as a career choice? What does the future look like?
- Community Outreach We welcome your input and suggestions for contacting your local media. We welcome your introductions to local schools and places of business. We can ensure they receive a copy of AviNation Magazine and an announcement about your story inclusion.

Please alert us as soon as possible if you will be submitting an article for publication. We will put you in the queue ahead of actually receiving the assets, this will help you get in the first available slot. All articles are placed in a queue and are normally published in the order received, typically within one to three issues after the submission is received..
